
Software Engineer II
Cadence Design SystemsResponsibilities
- Develop moderately complex CAD/CAE software in C, C++, and Qt according to coding standards and release processes.
- Design and implement new software functionality independently as part of a software project.
- Use software engineering tools including configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers.
- Debug and fix software issues and defects.
- Provide technical information for user documentation, help content, and guides.
Requirements
- BE, BTech, ME, MTech, or MCA in a listed computing or engineering discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in C, C++, or Fortran programming.
- Experience developing CAD/CAE graphical software and MVC-based GUIs such as Qt.
- Experience developing and debugging software on Windows and Linux.
- Experience with graphics technologies including OpenGL and VTK.
- Strong C++ programming knowledge and familiarity with CAD/CAE tools and GUI programming.
- Knowledge of Python or Perl scripting, along with good aptitude and academic performance.
