Base Salary
$119k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams, business partners, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify data product needs.
- Review technical requirements, identify design issues, and create and present technical designs and documentation.
- Implement code, coding patterns, best practices, security requirements, and data pipeline components.
- Build automation and orchestration tools for transforming, managing, accessing, deploying, and monitoring data processes.
- Create queries to extract and compile raw data and implement data extraction and transformation techniques.
- Validate data quality and follow data management, governance, and performance monitoring protocols.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, user acceptance testing, security scans, troubleshooting, and pipeline issue resolution.
- Provide technical troubleshooting guidance, address routine client requests, and support software upgrades and server security patches.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred specialist qualification of 4 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience designing and documenting technical components for data products or pipelines.
- Experience implementing code, applying coding standards and security requirements, and participating in code reviews.
- Experience building automation tools, creating queries, and implementing data extraction and transformation techniques.
- Experience with data quality, performance monitoring, troubleshooting pipeline issues, software upgrades, and security remediation.
- Experience presenting technical solutions, collaborating cross-functionally, mentoring peers, and addressing technically complex client requests.
