Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to define security standards for cloud infrastructure.
- Take ownership of projects from design to implementation and deployment of secure cloud components.
- Write clean, well-tested code in languages like Go, Python, or Scala.
- Implement security-first cloud platform features following best practices.
- Triage platform security issues and drive their resolution.
- Review infrastructure-as-code and cloud architecture designs for security concerns.
- Lead by example and demand high-quality deliverables from the team.
- Coach and mentor junior team members in cloud security engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience focused on cloud platforms.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles and infrastructure security.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (Go, Python, Java, etc.).
- Passion for cloud security engineering and proactive mindset.
