Base Salary

$152k - $288k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Work with robotics partners to adopt, extend, and scale NVIDIA simulation technologies.
  • Build and optimize workflows for robot rigging, rigid and deformable-body physics, multi-solver integration, rendering, sensor simulation, and synthetic data generation.
  • Diagnose integration and performance bottlenecks across simulation, rendering, data movement, accelerated computing, and large-scale workloads.
  • Lead technical evaluations, proofs of concept, workshops, and reference implementations.
  • Validate hybrid physics-based and neural-model approaches for learned-policy workflows and sim-to-real deployment.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA teams and customers to provide product feedback, shape roadmap priorities, and create reusable guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, or equivalent experience in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience building robotics simulation applications.
  • Deep expertise with robotics simulation platforms such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo, or Drake, and with physics, rendering, sensor modeling, or robot rigging.
  • Familiarity with ROS 2 and robotics description formats including OpenUSD, URDF, or MJCF.
  • Proficiency in Python or C++, including API integration and distributed software systems.
  • Understanding of GPU-accelerated computing applied to robotics simulation and machine learning workflows.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience includes NVIDIA simulation technologies, Isaac Lab, large-scale reinforcement learning, data generation, video and data reconstruction, industrial manipulation, sim-to-real techniques, and production work with robotics organizations.

  • Base salary varies by location, experience, and level; the stated base salary ranges are $152,000-$241,500 for Level 3 and $184,000-$287,500 for Level 4.
