Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and raise engineering standards while fostering a collaborative, trust-based team culture.
  • Drive long-term architecture and detailed design for scalable distributed systems.
  • Develop Azure platforms that simplify management and monitoring of edge devices at scale.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable production code for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with project disciplines to deliver solutions from ideation through production.
  • Mentor and develop engineers across all levels.
  • Promote inclusive, open, and honest problem-solving practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud services, RESTful services, or distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred.
  • Strong Computer Science background and solid C#, Java, or C/C++ programming and debugging skills are highly desired.
  • Strong design and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Deep understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Ability to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting, adaptive, collaborative, and able to finish projects.
