Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack custom applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Build responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and React.
  • Develop server-side logic, business rules, RESTful APIs, and web services for system integration.
  • Design database schemas and write stored procedures, including SQL and Oracle work.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Create technical documentation and document work and code according to defined processes.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to support system stability and performance.
  • Use GitLab and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide ongoing application support, bug fixes, maintenance, and performance tuning.
  • Participate in team and project review meetings and provide status updates.

Requirements

  • A degree in information systems management, computer science, computer engineering, software development, software engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least three years of related experience.
  • Experience with .NET Web Forms, MVC, C#, .NET, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL including Oracle.
  • Experience designing and developing full-stack solutions, server-side logic, business rules, RESTful APIs, web services, database schemas, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to collaborate with business analysts and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and limited supervision and meet project deadlines.
  • Bilingual French and English communication skills, spoken and written.
  • Ability to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program clearance, requiring Canadian citizenship or valid permanent resident status.
  • Experience with UML diagrams, Windows Server, Internet Information Services, Active Directory, MES, ERP, quality and PLM systems, manufacturing processes, supply chain, and design and engineering is preferred.
  • Strong programming, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
