Responsibilities
- Lead software requirements and design reviews.
- Create software verification plans, test protocols, software risk analyses, test plans, traceability records, and test reports.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated software test scripts.
- Validate software and tool configuration, functionality, and user interfaces.
- Execute verification plans, test protocols, and regression validation.
- Troubleshoot mobile applications, collect device evidence, and document bug reports.
- Record, track, and investigate defects while collaborating with development teams on root causes.
- Report test progress to management and follow software development, cybersecurity, validation, and medical regulatory procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8–12 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 5–7 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 2–4 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of iOS and Android mobile operating systems and applications.
- Strong experience developing automated test scripts with Java and Python.
- Experience with Linux and Mac terminal commands and Android Debug Bridge (ADB).
- Experience with Android Studio, ADB, Xcode, Appium, Appium GUI Server, and Appium Inspector.
- Experience with Git, Git commands, JFrog Artifactory, and repository maintenance.
- Experience with defect life cycle processes and tracking tools such as Jira.
- Experience with manual testing and system, regression, black-box, performance, stress, and white-box testing methodologies.
- Experience documenting test plans, maintaining test traceability, generating test reports, and troubleshooting mobile applications.
