Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate comprehensive functional, non-functional, security, regression, integration, and automation test strategies.
- Design, architect, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions and frameworks for system-level and front-end applications.
- Identify, document, reproduce, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues with development teams.
- Define testing metrics and contribute to test plans, reports, coverage analysis, and defect-resolution tracking.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and conduct manual or exploratory testing where automation is unsuitable.
- Use version control and configuration-management systems to maintain test scripts, cases, and related artifacts.
- Drive testing-process improvements, innovation, and large-scale automation transformations.
- Mentor and coach engineers while collaborating with developers, product owners, testers, and global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and test automation solutions.
- Proficiency coding and modifying complex automated software testing programs at system and front-end levels.
- In-depth understanding of Linux operating system internals.
- Knowledge of system controllers, preferably scanners, including their development and testing.
- Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, TestRail, Git, Subversion, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Robot Framework, TestNG, Python, C, C++, and other test automation libraries.
- Ability to write detailed test cases, maintain accurate test documentation, communicate effectively in English and local languages, and collaborate across diverse global teams.
- Proven matrix and stakeholder management experience, commercial awareness, sound decision-making, and the ability to drive effective results.
