Principal Engineer, Test Engineering - Systems

- Coordinate testing activities across hardware, mechanical, software, device, compatibility, cloud/backend, and mobile-app teams.
- Execute and report sanity, system, end-to-end feature, OTA, compatibility, device functionality, vehicle compatibility, and full-system tests.
- Develop and use Python and Robot Framework test automation.
- Analyze logs, tracing, and reported issues, and provide live debugging support for new features and change requests.
- Validate performance, security, power management, ignition-state management, GPS, sensors, diagnostics, telephony, and other device functionality.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify product requirements, expectations, and client design documentation.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience as an automotive Test Engineer.
- Experience with software testing, including white-box and grey-box testing.
- Experience with Python test automation and Robot Framework.
- Experience with data analysis, logs, and tracing.
- Knowledge of hardware setup, telematics or infotainment systems, CAN, diagnostics, and telephony.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for vehicle testing and work onsite when required by test setup dependencies.
- Preferred qualifications include ISTQB certification, knowledge of the A-SPICE automotive testing standard, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or another relevant IT-related specialization.
