Base Salary
$160k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, reliable, and secure applications using cloud-native technologies and services.
- Build, support, and integrate web applications, microservices, and data pipelines across multiple platforms.
- Write automated unit, integration, and deployment tests.
- Use Jenkins and GitLab Runners to build and deploy application code across environments.
- Lead technical design and code reviews, participate in Agile ceremonies, and troubleshoot software defects.
- Own technical requirements and scope definition and create technical Jira tickets.
- Provide technical support, automate repetitive tasks, mentor and train junior developers, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in C# and/or Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, and cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Hands-on technical leadership experience and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, UX designers, and technical leads.
- Experience with RESTful API design, scalable microservice architectures, object-oriented programming, and scalable, secure, maintainable code.
- Experience with automation testing approaches and performance testing.
- Experience with fixed-income front-office trading systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with AI tools for development and integration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
