Responsibilities
- Design and build backend systems for investment solutions.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical vision of backend systems.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of core investment workflows.
- Build and maintain financial infrastructure like reconciliation controls and investment ledgers.
- Write high-quality, testable code focusing on reliability and maintainability.
- Promote engineering best practices in observability and API design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience with distributed systems challenges.
- Mastery of backend technologies, preferably Kotlin with vert.x, Temporal & Kafka.
- Experience with automated tests and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies like GCP or AWS, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience integrating with observability tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
