Responsibilities
- Design and build mission-critical Identity and Access Management services primarily in Java.
- Develop and support large-scale global systems that meet security compliance requirements.
- Deploy services across AWS and on-premises systems.
- Maintain current- and future-state IAM documentation and standards.
- Participate in code reviews, own pull requests, and identify security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with multiple FactSet teams and respond to stakeholder queries.
- Participate in production incident learning and the on-call rotation as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of programming experience in Java or another object-oriented language.
- Experience with IAM authentication protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Experience building services using relational databases such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Experience implementing role-based access control systems in large distributed environments is beneficial.
- Experience writing RESTful HTTP APIs is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of browser functionality, including Cookies and CORS, is beneficial.
