Responsibilities
- Provide advanced software application expertise through technical presentations, customer training, product demonstrations, commercialization, customization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to identify problems, debug complex software issues, and recommend solutions.
- Drive system architecture and feature-specific customizations from proof of concept through final commercial launch.
- Assess product applications, prepare specifications, communicate technical information, and troubleshoot complex software tools and products.
- Write technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs, and review documentation for junior engineers.
- Provide guidance to team members and influence significant organizational decisions while working independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree with 5+ years; or a PhD with 4+ years.
- At least 3 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 3 years of experience with debugging techniques.
- Preferred master's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of related experience.
- Preferred experience interacting with senior leadership and working in a customer-facing role.
