Base Salary
$170k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver large features and systems end-to-end.
- Establish patterns that enhance team efficiency and code maintainability.
- Proactively drive change without waiting for permission.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams from the start.
- Anticipate future complexities and design scalable systems.
- Participate in hiring by conducting interviews and identifying talent.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building customer-facing software.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong development experience with modern programming languages like Java, C#, TypeScript, or Go.
- Deep understanding of SQL databases and schema design.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot and React/Redux.
- Full stack understanding from tooling to architecture.
- Experience deploying software in distributed environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to simplify complex problems for others.
- Expertise in cost/benefit analysis of engineering scope.
