Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable application deployments.
- Monitor applications using observability tools and apply anomaly detection techniques where applicable.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java and Spring Boot backend services and microservices.
- Build and enhance enterprise distributed systems with attention to reliability, security, and scalability.
- Lead system design, code reviews, and enforcement of engineering best practices.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities or third-party AI services into backend applications where applicable.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, including AI-driven testing techniques where applicable.
- Optimize database queries, application performance, availability, and resiliency.
- Conduct root cause analysis, performance tuning, and production support.
- Mentor junior developers and promote modern and AI-enabled engineering practices.
- Assess technical risks and ensure alignment with organizational standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Hands-on experience with Java programming and DevOps tools and technologies.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
