Base Salary
$170k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems with a focus on customer needs and product impact.
- Write maintainable code using React and TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js and Express on the backend.
- Lead the design and delivery of mission-critical backend APIs and services, emphasizing performance, security, and maintainability.
- Build and improve frontend features for Playground’s web application.
- Participate in code reviews and share technical knowledge across the team.
- Interact directly with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs.
- Identify technical debt and drive improvements across frontend and backend architecture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full stack or software development experience with meaningful frontend and backend exposure.
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency with Node.js and Express or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs in production.
- Experience operating cloud systems, including infrastructure, performance tuning, and reliability best practices; GCP is preferred.
- Ability to ship quickly, prioritize high-impact work, and solve complex problems with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ownership of high-impact, complex projects from concept to completion.
