Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.
- Develop integration solutions connecting internal banking systems with digital asset platforms.
- Build highly available, secure, resilient services supporting financial transactions and business-critical processes.
- Contribute to digital asset, tokenization, blockchain, distributed ledger, transaction, settlement, custody, and digital asset servicing initiatives.
- Participate in architecture decisions involving scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Build automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines and improve observability, monitoring, logging, and operational resilience.
- Support production environments, participate in incident resolution, and contribute reusable engineering patterns and platform capabilities.
- Apply secure coding and security-by-design practices while working with security, risk, and compliance teams.
- Collaborate in Agile squads with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, SREs, Security Specialists, and global engineering teams.
- Share knowledge through engineering communities, demos, and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or architecture roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience with Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based development workflows.
- Understanding of distributed systems, system integration, API design, and scalability patterns.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile organizations and fluent English communication skills at C1 level or above.
- Prior blockchain experience is welcome but not required.
