Responsibilities
- Run technical discovery with engineering leaders to understand architectures, workflows, and evaluation criteria.
- Build working customer proofs using real addresses, routes, and datasets across geocoding, routing, optimization, search, address validation, and maps.
- Win competitive bakeoffs against Google Maps, Mapbox, and other providers using data-driven evaluations.
- Create migration guides, code samples, demos, migration kits, and evaluation frameworks.
- Own the technical win through customer sign-off and a clean handoff to implementation.
Requirements
- Rapidly build API proofs using REST APIs, JSON, Postman or curl, Python or JavaScript, and messy real-world data.
- Investigate geospatial data issues such as inaccurate geocoding results.
- Communicate effectively with developers, engineering leaders, and VPs.
- Understand the technical requirements needed to advance a deal.
- Experience with Google Maps Platform, Mapbox, ESRI, HERE, TomTom, or similar location platforms is a strong plus.
