Base Salary

$243k - $295k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and ship end-to-end ML solutions for ranking, recommendation, pricing, and content understanding.
Build and iterate on deep learning retrieval and ranking models for personalized shopping experiences.
Develop models that optimize pricing, conversion, and revenue while balancing ecosystem health.
Own the full ML lifecycle for projects, including data exploration, feature engineering, and production deployment.
Design and run robust experiments to tie work to core metrics like engagement and creator earnings.
Collaborate with Product, Backend, Data Science, and Design teams to define roadmaps and success metrics.
Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, observable, and extensible with best practices for ML services.
Contribute to the technical direction of the Economy ML team and mentor other engineers.

BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in search, recommendation, personalization, pricing, or content understanding systems.
Comfortable with the ML lifecycle from data handling to stable production deployment.
Product-oriented mindset with a focus on user and business impact.
Hands-on experience with deep learning for ranking/retrieval and large-scale training/inference.
