Responsibilities
- Administer, optimize, and support MySQL databases for internal users.
- Evaluate new MySQL Database functionality and implement database architecture improvements.
- Automate administrative and operational tasks using Shell or Python and AI.
- Maintain and support databases across AWS and GCP multi-cloud environments.
- Configure high-availability solutions including AWS Aurora MySQL and Binlog replication Master Slave.
- Monitor applications, collaborate on integrations and architectures, and lead technically medium-complex initiatives.
- Develop programmatic solutions and expose functionality through APIs.
Requirements
- Solid experience administering and optimizing MySQL database services.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and familiarity with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience monitoring applications and providing technical leadership for medium-complexity initiatives.
- Ability to develop programmatic solutions for operational automation and expose functionality through APIs.
