Responsibilities
- Build local and autonomous AI agents that automate implementation, testing, code review, and CI/CD workflows.
- Develop tracing, evaluation suites, quality signals, and guardrails for AI agent reliability and safety.
- Scale AI automation and platform capabilities through documentation, onboarding, feedback, and adoption measurement.
- Build and evolve the Internal Developer Platform with service catalogs, self-service workflows, software templates, and engineering scorecards.
- Enable AI agents to interact with platform capabilities through structured metadata, documented interfaces, and agent-consumable tooling.
- Measure DORA metrics, platform adoption, agent quality, and operational reliability.
- Help technical and non-technical teams identify AI automation opportunities and implement reliable production solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps, including 1+ year of hands-on experience building AI agents for real-world workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD.
- Experience building autonomous AI agents integrated into CI/CD or SDLC workflows beyond Copilot-style assistance.
- Practical experience with Context Engineering, agent skills, rules, internal knowledge sources, and custom MCP server development.
- Experience building agent evaluation suites and quality gates that define when agent-generated changes can merge and when human approval is required.
- Experience building self-service capabilities and rolling out shared tools or practices across multiple teams.
- Ability to translate technical and non-technical user needs into practical automation solutions.
- Experience with Internal Developer Platforms such as Backstage, Port, or comparable solutions is preferred.
- Experience with observability, SRE practices, production incident response, GitHub Actions, or AI agent execution runtimes such as Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Agent Substrate is preferred.
