Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own a shared frontend design system, including reusable components, patterns, and primitives.
- Define scalable frontend architecture covering state management, data fetching, module boundaries, and performance.
- Partner with product and design to scope and ship customer-facing features from concept through production.
- Improve tooling, end-to-end testing, deployment, and observability to support continuous delivery.
- Use LLM-assisted development and help teammates adopt effective workflows.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, mentor engineers, and establish frontend engineering standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with React and TypeScript.
- Proven experience building and evolving a shared UI design system or component library.
- Experience with end-to-end testing and quality tooling for a growing engineering team.
- Strong UX instincts and a user-centered approach to frontend development.
- Ability to take ownership in an ambiguous, early-stage environment and define technical patterns.
- B.S. or higher in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Preferred experience with GraphQL, Playwright, TailwindCSS, LLM-integrated features, early-stage frontend ownership, or health-tech and healthcare.
