Base Salary

$166k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop autonomy software for aerial and multi-domain robotic systems
  • Build software for Lattice for Mission Autonomy, Fury, Barracuda, and other robotic platforms
  • Work on computer vision, motion planning, SLAM, controls, estimation, and secure communications
  • Process and analyze significant amounts of data
  • Develop features and algorithms for autonomous systems, including behavior-based functionality
  • Build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments
  • Collaborate with Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering teams

Requirements

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of production-grade Rust experience in a Linux development environment
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly
  • Strong background in physics, mathematics, or motion planning for modeling and simulation
  • Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments
  • Experience with feature and algorithm development and behavior trees
  • Experience developing software or hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality
  • Knowledge of distributed communication networks and message standards
  • Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
