Base Salary
$153k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build automated safe-by-default security tooling, guardrails, and security-as-a-service capabilities for engineering teams.
- Design and implement scalable controls to secure cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with engineering and security teams to deploy security enhancements and control changes.
- Investigate and respond to security events and improve security practices with development teams.
- Conduct security assessments of third-party integrations and emerging AI tools.
- Perform threat modeling and architectural reviews to identify attack vectors early in the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a security-related role, including at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
- Expertise securing cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, with foundational knowledge of Azure and/or GCP.
- Strong understanding of AWS security services including IAM, EC2, VPC, ECR, ECS, and EKS, along with Azure services and security practices.
- Proven experience with a CNAPP or similar cloud security tool such as Wiz, Orca Security, Lacework, or Upwind.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go, for automation.
- Knowledge of least privilege, defense-in-depth, and security monitoring principles.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with GCP, OCI, and multi-cloud networks and infrastructure, particularly cloud-agnostic systems design.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, risk assessment, and security education skills.

- Base pay range is $153,000–$171,000, with potential bonuses and restricted stock units excluded from the base pay range.
