Responsibilities

Own and build backend services and real-time optimization algorithms for energy asset data.
Create and iterate on frontend dashboards for monitoring and controlling battery assets.
Design and scale cloud infrastructure supporting a growing fleet of battery systems.
Deploy production-ready optimizations and incorporate feedback from live deployments.
Collaborate across functions to define product features and translate customer needs into engineering requirements.

Have up to five years of professional experience and a graduation date no earlier than 2023.
Demonstrate full-stack proficiency with React and TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend; Next.js is preferred.
Have experience with Tailwind CSS and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Understand mixed-integer optimization or similar algorithmic problem-solving.
Have startup experience and comfort working on a small, fast-moving team with limited structure.
Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering with strong academic results.
Show exceptional achievement beyond standard employment, such as founding experience or participation in highly selective programs or extracurricular groups.
Be fluent or near-fluent in German; this is a hard requirement.
Have a genuine interest in the energy sector and renewable energy technology.
Experience deploying optimizations in production systems is preferred.

Visa sponsorship is available.
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, five days per week; no remote arrangement is available.
Annual salary range of EUR 70,000 to EUR 100,000.
