Responsibilities
- Design and build the agent core, including planning, execution, and self-healing loops for production-grade data movement.
- Own the connectors, transformation engine, execution runtime, web application, SDK, and MCP server end to end.
- Identify and ship the highest-leverage engineering work in an early-stage environment without a formal ticket queue or fully formed specifications.
- Work directly with customers on technical issues and feature requests and translate conversations into product insight.
- Establish engineering standards and coding patterns for future team members.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong TypeScript proficiency and demonstrated experience building full-stack applications end to end.
- Proficiency in at least one additional language such as Python, Go, or C.
- Experience integrating with or implementing enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or data warehouse platforms.
- Sound technical judgment regarding reliability, scalability, and failure modes for critical infrastructure.
- Experience working directly with customers on technical implementations or support.
- Meaningful experience building or contributing to open source projects.
- Strong computer science fundamentals demonstrated through a technical university background, competitive programming, or strong internships.
- Experience in an early-stage startup or similarly high-growth, high-ownership environment.
- Experience with data migration, ETL, or system integration is a plus.
- Familiarity with LLM or agent tooling is a plus.
- Clear and confident communication with teammates and customers.
Benefits
- Salary range of 90,000 to 150,000 EUR annually.
- Equity is available.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
- On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, five days per week; relocation is expected if not already based there.
