Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture and design of AI systems.
- Collaborate across the full stack to ship complex product features.
- Build efficient data pipelines for large-scale unstructured data.
- Deploy and manage software in cloud environments.
- Improve backend scalability, stability, and efficiency.
- Develop reusable components and well-structured API layers.
- Write clean, maintainable code with sensible test coverage.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of full-time professional engineering experience; internship-only or working-student experience does not qualify.
- Strong proficiency building end-to-end web applications with Next.js and React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Backend-capable full-stack experience with scalable APIs and reusable backend structures.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern CI/CD practices.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
- Experience building data pipelines for large-scale unstructured data.
- Hands-on experience with ML/NLP technologies, embeddings, vector databases, RLHF, and deploying ML components in production.
- Experience with ML model serving and production inference pipelines.
- A product-minded approach and track record of shipping complex web applications.
- Ability to clearly explain prior engineering work, accomplishments, and technical decisions.
Benefits
- Salary range of 80,000 to 130,000 EUR annually.
- Full-time, on-site work in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
- Limited hybrid arrangements are not offered.
