Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features with TypeScript and React, emphasizing user experience.
- Design and implement scalable backend systems handling large data volumes and high API request rates.
- Own features from concept and deployment through ongoing operation, reliability, and security.
- Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions.
- Synchronize and index large client datasets while managing fine-grained permissions.
- Operate and optimize systems processing millions of LLM calls per month.
- Architect and scale environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes daily.
- Build infrastructure that helps the integrations team onboard new systems quickly.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide thorough, constructive code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally 3 to 5 years.
- Production experience with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong backend skills at scale, including Python, tRPC, or comparable technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and high-throughput distributed services.
- Demonstrated full-stack application development experience, including ownership of frontend projects.
- Experience building scalable, secure, and reliable backend services handling high data or API volumes.
- Strong product ownership with attention to user experience and long-term product quality.
- Experience integrating AI services or a genuine interest in AI-integrated products.
- Currently based in Munich, Germany.
Benefits
- Salary range of 60,000 to 80,000 EUR annually.
- Hybrid role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany; candidates must already live in Munich.
