Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and design of AI systems from the ground up.
- Collaborate across the full stack to ship complex web applications.
- Build data pipelines for large-scale unstructured data.
- Deploy and manage software in cloud environments.
- Improve backend scalability, stability, and efficiency.
- Develop scalable, reusable components and API structures.
- Deploy ML components, model-serving systems, and inference pipelines in production.
- Write clean, maintainable code with sensible test coverage.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of full-time professional engineering experience; working-student or internship-only experience does not qualify.
- Strong backend-leaning full-stack experience rather than a frontend-focused profile.
- Proficiency with Next.js and React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Experience designing scalable APIs and reusable backend structures.
- Experience building data pipelines for large-scale unstructured data.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern CI/CD practices.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with ML/NLP technologies, embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF.
- Experience deploying ML components, serving models, and operating inference pipelines in production.
- A product-minded track record of shipping complex web applications.
Benefits
- Salary range of 80,000 to 130,000 EUR per year.
- On-site role in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
- Full-time in-person work is required; limited hybrid schedules are not accommodated.
