Responsibilities
- Build and customize ServiceNow applications, data tables, user interfaces, business logic, workflows, and modules.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using web services, scripted REST APIs, and related technologies.
- Perform ServiceNow version upgrades and implement new releases with minimal disruption to IT operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues, system integrations, compatibility problems, and multi-platform environments.
- Maintain reliable and reproducible development, staging, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
- Provide production and end-user support, estimate work efforts, and develop user manuals and technical reports.
- Lead integrations of new products based on client requirements and support continuous process, standards, and tool improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or 6–7 years of programming-language experience with at least 3 years of ServiceNow work experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, dashboards and reports, Performance Analytics, Knowledge Base, SOAR, and SecOps.
- Programming proficiency in JavaScript, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and related web technologies.
- Experience with system integration using XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST, SOAP, and web services.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP ports, firewalls, network protocols, and IP networks.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow plus at least two of Java/J2EE, C#/C++, VB/.NET, Perl, Python, SQL, or JavaScript/AJAX.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and other stakeholders.
