Base Salary

$115k - $115k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and securely operate shared DevOps infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Configure, harden, and maintain systems using configuration-management tooling such as Ansible.
  • Tune systems for scale, performance, and resilience.
  • Build and operate secured, sandboxed environments for AI agents and automated workflows.
  • Integrate AI tooling into development and operations workflows.
  • Advise on infrastructure and service architecture and security reviews.
  • Create documentation, runbooks, and reusable patterns for team knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with UTISO and the Regional Security Operations Center to support enterprise cybersecurity operations.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship, U.S. residency, or officially recognized asylee status, plus eligibility to access classified information as required by the project.
  • At least 2 years of experience building and integrating systems with enterprise source-code management and automation tooling, including Python and/or Bash scripting and Ansible.
  • At least 4 years of Linux system administration experience or advanced understanding of operating systems and common operating environments.
  • Demonstrated fluency with modern AI tooling, such as coding agents or LLM-assisted development workflows, and experience or experimentation with AI in operations or security contexts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple groups and manage engagement scope.
  • General networking and security troubleshooting knowledge, including firewalls, routing, and NAT.
  • Interest in or affinity for information security.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, containerization and orchestration, cloud security posture management, secrets and credential lifecycle management, AI-agent infrastructure, monitoring and observability, clustered or highly available systems, and securing systems at scale.
