Responsibilities
- Analyze customer structural simulation requirements, operating conditions, and solution options.
- Develop MSC Marc nonlinear simulation demonstrations, POC tests, benchmarks, and feasibility validations.
- Prepare technical solutions, simulation comparison reports, technical responses, and bid documentation.
- Conduct customer technical discussions, presentations, product demonstrations, and solution briefings.
- Provide software usage support, modeling guidance, error diagnosis, solver debugging, and project implementation assistance.
- Support nonlinear simulation projects involving large deformation, contact, plasticity, thermal-structural coupling, creep, residual stress, swelling, and assembly stress.
- Deliver customer software training, hands-on instruction, and case-based technical education.
- Develop standardized simulation cases, workflows, troubleshooting knowledge bases, and best-practice documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanics, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with MSC Marc and familiarity with fundamental finite element theory.
- Proficiency in material, geometric, and contact nonlinearity, including plasticity, hyperelasticity, creep, large deformation, large rotation, friction, and interference assembly.
- Ability to independently complete modeling, meshing, material definition, boundary conditions, solver setup, post-processing, and report preparation.
- Strong customer communication, learning ability, and willingness to develop long-term expertise in CAE applications.
- Fluent English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Experience with battery structures, composite structures, plastic products, or electronic packaging simulation is preferred.
- Familiarity with Digimat multiscale composite simulation and fiber-orientation mapping is preferred.
- Experience with at least one of Nastran, Dytran, Patran, or Ansa is preferred.
- Industrial software technical support, application engineering, or simulation project implementation experience is preferred.
