Responsibilities
- Own the technical execution layer for customer migration and integration workstreams from feasibility assessment and planning through production rollout, validation, remediation, and handoff.
- Build production-quality migration utilities, backend services, data pipelines, integrations, automations, and reconciliation frameworks.
- Investigate source systems, data quality, permissions, authentication, rate limits, and edge cases, and recommend practical solutions.
- Design migrations for reliability, scale, security, observability, idempotency, failure recovery, and safe reruns while following approved access and data-handling procedures.
- Manage implementation workstreams, dependencies, risks, scope changes, technical decisions, approvals, validation evidence, and customer acceptance criteria.
- Convert recurring delivery patterns into reusable components, documentation, automation, and playbooks, and provide technical feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in backend engineering, data engineering, integration engineering, implementation engineering, technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience and working experience with Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data transformation.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, webhooks, and system integrations.
- Experience owning a production migration, integration, or technical implementation through mapping, transformation, testing, rollout, validation, and handoff.
- Experience taking technical problems from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and production operation.
- Experience with Git, code review, automated testing, release practices, and production deployment.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal English skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evidence of working on production systems rather than only prototypes or proof-of-concept projects.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, job orchestration, infrastructure automation, AWS, GCP, Azure, message queues, event-driven systems, distributed-system patterns, observability tools, enterprise SaaS, large-scale migrations, AI or LLM applications, MCP, Notion Workers, Custom Agents, or distributed APAC teams.
