Responsibilities
- Work on complex technical projects from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, and production launch.
- Contribute hands-on to implementation and build APIs and tooling focused on performance and code quality.
- Improve platform robustness, scalability, and engineering practices.
- Deliver production functionality quickly and iterate on features used by merchants and shoppers at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across teams and time zones to complete projects.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Experience with Java, complex large-scale distributed systems, web services, REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of software engineering practices and interest in product knowledge.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, experimental, and fast-iteration environment.
