Responsibilities
- Work hands-on across requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and production launch.
- Build APIs and tooling with strong performance, scalability, and code-quality principles.
- Identify and improve platform components to make them more robust and scalable.
- Deliver functionality quickly and iterate on features used by merchants and shoppers at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and colleagues across time zones.
- Contribute to engineering best practices and provide technical perspectives on complex projects.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Experience with Java, web services, REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with complex, large-scale distributed systems.
- Understanding of software engineering practices and interest in product knowledge.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and work with an experimental, iterative mindset.
