Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build technical relationships with internal customers and serve as an architectural advisor.
- Design resilient, redundant, highly available infrastructure for classified environments across compute, storage, virtualization, archival, and data-retention layers.
- Architect hybrid classified cloud integrations, cross-domain solutions, and automated low-to-high data and event flows.
- Develop cloud migration and integration strategies for legacy systems, proprietary applications, and enterprise capabilities.
- Coordinate with system administration, network, cybersecurity, and application teams on end-to-end system performance.
- Produce architectural diagrams, system design documents, reference architectures, and standards-based architecture artifacts.
- Support capacity and scalability planning for classified compute infrastructure.
- Coordinate with proposal teams and technical review teams on technical solutions.
- Travel up to 10% and provide periodic direct on-site support at the applicable Raytheon location.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent experience and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 7 years of experience.
- Experience developing system designs, architecture, and deployments.
- Experience with server operating systems, server hardware, storage, networks, virtualization, cloud integrations, encryption, security, archival systems, and clients.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required before the start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain or maintain DoDD 8140/8570 certification requirements, such as CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent, within six months of starting.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Windows, Red Hat, Ansible, VMware, containerization, cloud-native architectures, and NetApp storage devices.
- Preferred TOGAF, Security+, CISSP, architectural, or security certifications.
- Preferred experience with cloud integration and government security controls including NISPOM, JAFAN, ICD 503, and RMF.
- Strong written, oral, presentation, organizational, multitasking, and technical communication skills.
