Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, modernize, govern, and optimize secure, scalable Microsoft Azure infrastructure and enterprise platform solutions.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, hybrid infrastructure, and Azure DevOps-to-GitHub transformation engagements.
- Develop Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, operational standards, reusable automation, deployment accelerators, and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
- Design and implement enterprise DevOps platforms using GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and repository governance.
- Implement DevSecOps capabilities including GitHub Advanced Security, code scanning, secret scanning, vulnerability remediation, policy-as-code, compliance controls, and secure SDLC practices.
- Configure and optimize Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, monitoring, security, containers, and cloud-native services.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, solution design, executive presentations, technical proposals, estimations, and proof-of-concepts.
- Serve as a primary technical advisor, mentor client and internal engineering teams, conduct architecture and code reviews, and establish engineering standards and reusable patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Experience leading enterprise cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in a Microsoft partner, consulting, or professional services organization and proven success leading customer-facing technical engagements.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, platform engineering solutions, and developer self-service capabilities.
- Azure DevOps-to-GitHub migration experience is a plus, including repositories, pipelines, GitHub Actions, permissions, governance, branching, security controls, and developer workflows.
- Required certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), GitHub Foundations, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate; candidates may obtain them within six months of hire.
- Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Information Security Administrator Associate (SC-401 or successor), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), TOGAF Foundation, or ITIL Foundation.

- Targeted base salary range of $154,000-$232,000 per year, with the final offer based on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location.
