Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Go in Linux/UNIX environments.
- Own one or more functionality modules and serve as the point of contact for them.
- Write clean, modular, loosely coupled code and ensure designs meet requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues in existing features in production.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with teams while delivering projects independently and on schedule.
- Use generative AI tools and IDEs to accelerate development, improve code quality, and support documentation and debugging.
Requirements
- At least four years of development experience with Go in a Linux/UNIX environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, such as Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent degree.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, advanced data structures, computer science principles, and scalable solution design.
- Knowledge of operating systems and systems programming, including multithreading, multiprocessing, and memory management.
- Working knowledge of Perl, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Experience working with databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Java experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of different models and prompt engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
