Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern RESTful APIs.
- Develop platform capabilities that meet business requirements.
- Assess operational feasibility and validate solutions through proofs of concept and prototypes.
- Write maintainable, extensible, testable, and performant code.
- Own and make informed decisions about services operating at scale.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to adopt new technologies and concepts.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Around 6+ years of experience developing commercial software.
- Experience developing web service APIs using Java and Spring.
- Experience delivering solutions on GCP or AWS using a broad range of available services.
- Experience working in a collaborative setting.
- Strong problem-solving ability and sound engineering judgment.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development.
