Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and full stack apps for financial event processing.
- Create automated paths from operational activity through billing, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Integrate operational systems with ERP, payment providers, and other platforms.
- Automate reconciliation workflows to improve financial accuracy.
- Own APIs, data models, and service health metrics for production services.
- Mentor engineers and lead projects from concept through production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production backend systems.
- Strong skills in distributed-systems design and data modeling.
- A rigorous approach to consistency and transactional integrity.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Regular on-site presence in South San Francisco is required.
