Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Workato integration design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Set up Workato environments and develop integration flows based on business requirements and technical designs.
- Conduct field mapping sessions and coordinate with project teams, application owners, stakeholders, and system SMEs.
- Prepare technical design specifications and ensure adherence to integration standards and best practices.
- Plan and execute end-to-end testing, validate integrated components and prototypes, and optimize solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide post-implementation support to improve adoption and system performance.
- Estimate project complexity, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior consultants and business analysts.
- Participate in recruiting, staffing, training, and other practice-building initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technology field.
- 6–7 years of experience with Application-to-Application and Business-to-Business integrations.
- At least 4 years of hands-on Workato integration experience.
- Workato Automation Pro 1, 2, and 3 certifications.
- Proficiency in SQL, JSON, XML, and at least one programming language.
- Experience implementing complex, scalable, and high-volume integrations.
- Experience with real-time, batch, and ETL integrations across cloud and on-premises applications.
- Knowledge of API management and REST, SOAP, and WSDL web services technologies.
- Understanding of WS-Security and OAuth authorization and authentication protocols.
- Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture.
- Strong communication, negotiation, expectation-management, documentation, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
