Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed designs.
- Develop, test, optimize, and scale features for highly available services.
- Build, monitor, and optimize high-volume financial reporting services and distributed systems.
- Analyze architecture, code, and metrics to drive operational excellence.
- Make data-driven decisions and balance short-term and long-term technical trade-offs.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies while collaborating with internal business and financial systems teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: programming experience with a modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
