Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Develop reusable, responsive UI components and optimize application performance.
- Manage application state and data fetching using tools such as React Query and Redux.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs with robust error handling and data consistency.
- Instrument frontend systems with monitoring, configure alerting, and lead frontend incident response.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, progressive rollouts, architecture decisions, RFCs, and technical design reviews.
- Investigate production issues using Datadog, distributed tracing, and log analysis.
- Collaborate with Product, Mobile, QE, and Data teams on high-quality continuous releases.
- Support and mentor team members and help advance frontend engineering practices.
- Use AI agents and AI-assisted tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, code review, testing, performance analysis, and engineering workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and operating production frontend applications at scale.
- Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of modern CSS, responsive design, Web APIs, browser internals, and frontend performance optimization.
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress or Playwright.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Vite and Webpack.
- Production experience deploying to AWS and/or Azure and running services on Kubernetes, including EKS.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience making repositories agent-ready and using AI agents for end-to-end engineering tasks.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation of AI-generated outputs, and reliable, reproducible, accessible AI-driven development practices.
- Experience with Vue 2 or Vue 3, design systems, and Figma is a plus.
