Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and unit test Forescout product features.
- Deliver critical security and networking features for complex customer environments.
- Work with senior technical leaders and product management to define the networking feature roadmap.
- Collaborate with QA, technical publications, support, and other teams to ensure high-quality end-to-end delivery.
- Evaluate and explain emerging security technologies.
- Design, develop, and deploy integrations with third-party APIs and identity or network infrastructure systems.
- Troubleshoot interoperability issues across complex enterprise environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience delivering production-quality software.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and accounting concepts.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, SSH, RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, and EAP.
- Experience delivering software distributed across customer premises or SaaS solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Self-starter mindset and willingness to work across multiple areas as needed.
