Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop solutions for business and technical problems.
- Participate in application design, architecture, and scalability decisions.
- Own applications and their end-to-end life cycles.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using development best practices.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, errors, and application performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor application health and improve scalability, availability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Design and optimize MongoDB data models and caching strategies with Redis.
- Propose new features and improvements based on application metrics and business impact.
Requirements
- More than six years of experience developing scalable backend solutions, specifically with Java.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including MariaDB, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience across the full development lifecycle, including production releases, deployment, testing, and post-implementation monitoring.
- Ability to understand feature impact, track post-deployment metrics, and evaluate proposals using data-driven judgment.
- Interest in or experience with AI tools.
- Frontend technology experience is a nice-to-have.
