Base Salary
$154k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of ASIC firmware, command systems, telemetry processing, power control, hardware interfaces, and autonomous capabilities.
- Implement embedded software in Linux and real-time operating system environments for reliable operation under resource constraints.
- Drive ASIC security architecture, threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, security reviews, and defensive design.
- Develop hardware interfaces using I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, JTAG, and Ethernet with appropriate security controls and authentication.
- Collaborate with hardware, chip architecture, security, systems, test, and customer teams from custom silicon and board design through bring-up, verification, and integration.
- Apply secure coding, code review, reliability, and security-testing practices and integrate security validation into manufacturing and test environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience identifying bugs in architecture, algorithms, functionality, and performance, with strong debugging skills.
- Experience verifying logic at multiple levels, from IP blocks and SoCs through full-system testing.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with formal verification techniques, including abstraction and end-to-end checking.
- Preferred: experience with ARM and various DSP ISAs.
- Preferred: experience with cellular 4G/5G NR, WiMAX, 802.11ad, microwave backhaul, or related broadband wireless standards.
- Preferred: experience with industry-standard tools and Python or Perl scripting for automation.
- Must meet export-control eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
