Base Salary
$169k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the Real-Time Operations client architecture strategy for scalable, region- and vertical-specific experiences.
- Shape configurability and extensibility on a shared platform foundation.
- Set and evolve frontend architecture, including module boundaries, shared libraries, build systems, delivery systems, and independent team ownership patterns.
- Own cross-cutting client concerns including authentication, session management, logging, metrics, localization, internationalization, accessibility, and UI cohesion.
- Drive reliability, performance, observability, error-rate reduction, and resilience for real-time experiences.
- Lead safe, reusable AI-assisted engineering workflows, review protocols, and quality gates.
- Review designs and architecture across RTO and partner teams.
- Mentor and grow senior engineers and develop technical leaders.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders on technical strategy and durable architecture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership at the Staff or Principal level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience designing and building systems that scale to millions of users across the full stack.
- Deep frontend expertise with TypeScript and Angular and/or React, including frontend architecture at scale.
- Experience with modular package ecosystems or module federation, shared component libraries, and build and delivery systems.
- Experience building configurable or extensible platforms for multiple customer segments, verticals, or regions.
- Experience improving production-system reliability and performance through observability, load-time and error-rate reduction, and resilience.
- Daily experience using AI-assisted engineering tools with attention to quality, security, and performance.
- Strong communication and ability to influence engineering and product leaders across teams.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to balance business and engineering priorities across diverse markets.
- Ability to mentor engineers and raise the capabilities of technical teams.
