Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end cloud, hybrid, and on-premise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Build modular, reusable, and maintainable integration flows using routing, splitting, gathering, message mapping, and transformation patterns.
- Implement JSON, XML, and CSV transformations, canonical models, contract-first practices, persistence, idempotency, retries, correlation, and resilience.
- Design secure APIs with authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, lifecycle management, and observability, and integrate third-party applications through connectors.
- Enable event-driven integrations and messaging patterns for near-real-time, decoupled architectures.
- Build AI-native integration agents, retrieval-grounded assistance, mapping and configuration recommendations, anomaly detection, predictive operations, and conversational troubleshooting with human-in-the-loop safeguards.
- Develop automated integration tests, payload regression suites, replay testing, API verification, AI evaluation harnesses, monitoring, release gates, dashboards, alerts, and traceability.
- Diagnose integration issues using logs, traces, correlation IDs, and failure-mode analysis, and contribute to integration governance, advisory, modernization, and maturity initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, cloud integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
- Proven ability to implement message mappings, routing patterns, and transformation logic across enterprise data formats.
- Practical scripting experience, such as Groovy, for advanced integration customization and performance tuning.
- Solid API design and management fundamentals including security, throttling, lifecycle/versioning, and observability.
- Experience with AI-native delivery workflows, retrieval-grounded outputs, measurable evaluation loops, tool augmentation, and safe action boundaries.
- Knowledge of event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, connector-based SaaS integrations, legacy-platform migration, integration governance, and enterprise standardization is strongly beneficial.
