Base Salary
$75k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications using Mendix and SAP BTP.
- Serve as the internal Mendix subject matter expert for best practices, governance, reusable components, and development standards.
- Bridge functional and technical gaps between Mendix applications and SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP back-end systems.
- Develop and manage integrations using OData, REST, SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and SAP destinations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Mendix application solutions with stakeholders, architects, and SAP consultants.
- Mentor junior and mid-level Mendix developers through code reviews, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support pre-sales through solution scoping, effort estimates, and technical proposal development.
- Ensure application quality through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Mendix performance standards.
- Support configuration management and change-control processes for federal security and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 3 years of Mendix development.
- Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is required.
- US citizenship is required.
- An active Secret Clearance is required.
- Experience bridging Mendix applications with SAP back-end systems.
- Working knowledge of OData services, SAP BTP destinations, and Cloud Connector configuration.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP BTP.
- Proficiency with Mendix Studio Pro, microflows, nanoflows, domain modeling, and custom widget development.
- Experience with REST and OData API integration, SAP BTP deployment models, BTP Cockpit, destination configuration, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Understanding of federal IT security standards and controlled or classified-environment work.
- Mendix Expert Developer Certification is strongly preferred.
- SAP BTP certification or experience with SAP Integration Suite or SAP Extension Suite is preferred.
- Experience with Mendix Native Mobile development, SAP enterprise architecture or solution design, SAP security concepts, consulting or professional services, and client-facing stakeholder management is preferred.
