Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide fine-grained traffic control using state-of-the-art technologies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive results and enhance infrastructure solutions.
- Act as a thought leader in traffic management principles for the organization.
- Build Service Mesh components within a highly talented team.
- Design and implement infrastructure components related to traffic management using Rust/C++/Go.
- Architect workload and service management infrastructure by developing critical components.
- Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions following company leadership principles.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to make services extensible and unlock innovation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
- 12+ years of professional software development experience with at least 2+ years as a Technical Lead.
- Experience in designing and implementing traffic management solutions at scale.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing large scale distributed systems for at least the past three years.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing Service Mesh (Istio) features.
- Excellent development skills in Go/Rust/C++ with a proven track record of delivering mission-critical systems.
- Experience with cloud computing using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
