Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, debug, and support features in a highly concurrent and distributed system for cloud automation and software operations.
- Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed engineering team.
- Interact publicly with upstream open-source communities.
- Discuss technical ideas and collaborate on effective solutions.
- Work from home with global travel for internal and external events.
Requirements
- Experience developing software using Go.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, especially in online environments.
- Exceptional academic track record from high school and preferably university.
- Willingness to travel up to four times a year for internal events.
- Helpful qualifications include experience with highly concurrent distributed systems, Docker, LXD, Kubernetes, networking, Linux, open-source software, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, cloud computing, Debian, snaps, SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed open-source teams, Terraform plugins, and open-source contributions.
